For many, it honors the resurrection of Jesus Christ, while others reflect on the changing seasons, the return of light, and the blooming of new beginnings.

✝️ Christian Connection: Easter is the most important celebration in the Christian calendar. It commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ three days after his crucifixion—a powerful symbol of hope, renewal, and eternal life.

🐰 Fun Fact: Did you know the Easter Bunny actually has ancient roots? The symbol of the hare was associated with the pagan goddess Ēostre, who represented spring and fertility—long before chocolate eggs and jellybeans!

• Ēostre is an Anglo-Saxon goddess associated with spring and the dawn, particularly known for her connection to the Christian holiday of Easter. Bede, an 8th-century historian, mentioned her in his work "De temporum ratione" (The Reckoning of Time), suggesting the Paschal season might have been named after her.
