Updated: Nov 19

October is ADHD awareness month poster

Ever start a task, then suddenly remember you need to do the laundry, which leads to reorganizing your closet, and somehow you end up Googling “how to train a therapy llama”? Welcome to the world of ADHD—where our thoughts are as fast-paced as a marathon and just as unpredictable!

Here at Saving Grace Medical Academy, we understand the unique challenges faced by individuals with ADHD and celebrate their creativity, resilience, and boundless energy! This month, we’re shining a light on ADHD awareness and showcasing how we support those with ADHD through our courses and learning environment.

Supporting ADHD-Friendly Learning

At Saving Grace Medical Academy, we know that traditional classroom settings aren’t always conducive for everyone—especially those with ADHD. That’s why we’ve designed our courses to be inclusive, engaging, and supportive. Here’s how we help learners with ADHD thrive:

  • Flexible Learning Options: Choose from a variety of learning formats, including blended online and in-person classes, so you can study at your own pace and avoid information overload.

  • Interactive Teaching Techniques: We incorporate visual aids, hands-on activities, and real-world scenarios to keep you engaged and actively learning.

  • Small Class Sizes: With fewer distractions and more opportunities for personalized instruction, our small class sizes help keep focus and participation levels high.

  • Break-Friendly Scheduling: We offer regular breaks throughout our sessions to help manage attention and energy levels effectively.

Whether it’s during First Aid, BLS, or ACLS training, we believe that every student should have the opportunity to succeed, regardless of learning style or challenges.

ADHD Awareness Matters

By increasing understanding and awareness, we can help break the stigma and provide more inclusive educational opportunities for all. This month, take a moment to learn more about ADHD, support someone in your life who has it, or share resources that can help others. Together, we can build a more compassionate and accommodating world!

At Saving Grace Medical Academy, we’re here to support you—whether you’re learning life-saving skills or figuring out how to train that therapy llama 🦙💡!

Happy ADHD Awareness Month! 🎉
