Basic Life Support Provider Renewal CPR & AED Course

(New Students & Expired Certificates) AKA: BLS Provider CPR.
 

Maintain your continuing competencies and unlock the power to save lives with our comprehensive Basic Life Support (BLS) recertification CPR course. Designed for those who are short on time, and to equip individuals with essential skills and knowledge, this course is perfect for healthcare professionals, first responders, nurses, dental hygienists, and anyone seeking to renew their yearly BLS CPR certificate.

 

In this dynamic and interactive CPR course, participants will delve into the fundamental principles of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), gaining hands-on experience and confidence in administering life-saving techniques. Led by experienced instructors, our BLS CPR course adheres to the latest guidelines and best practices established by renowned organizations such as the Heart & Stroke Foundation.

BLS is the requirement for all Alberta Health Services employee's to maintain continuing education and proficiency in CPR. This program is recognized by AHS, Covenant Health, Dental Associations, UofA, Grant McEwan and more.

    Please bring the following:

    • Comfortable clothing
    • Water
    • Lunch (if you are taking a full-day ACLS course. There are full amenities in the area if you need to go out).
  • Cancellation Policy
    Cancellations are subject to a $5.00 administrative fee prior to the start of your scheduled public training course. 

    You can cancel your course by emailing reception@savinggracemedical.com subject to cancellation policy. 

    • Students who cancel their enrollment less than 7 days prior to the start date will be charged 50% of their course fee.

    • Students who cancel their enrollment less than 3 days prior to the start date will be charged 100% of the course fee.

    • Same day registration and cancellation are subject to a $5.00 administration fee. 

    Administration fee will be billed to the credit card provided

    All course funds will be forfeit if you fail to show up for your course and the credit card provided will be billed accordingly.

    • It is the attendee's responsibility to verify they have registered for the correct training program for their needs and level of expertise. 

    Rescheduling:

    Rescheduling is no longer permitted without penalty due to abuse of policy "Verbal Abuse / Harassments / Bullying". It is now the responsibility of the student to ensure they match their schedule with the course they have selected. If the student has extenuating circumstances, please bring it to the attention of our office and we will do our best to accommodate. "However" we can no longer extend free rescheduling due to actions of students. 

    • Students who reschedule greater than 7 days prior to the start date will be charged an additional 25% course fee.

    • Students who reschedule less than 7 days prior to the start date will be charged an additional 50% course fee.

    • Students who reschedule less than 3 days prior to the start date will be charged an additional 100% of the course fee.

    • Students who have already rescheduled their course are ineligible for a refund of course fees.

    • Students who reschedule multiple times (more than once) will be subject to a %50 course rescheduling fee each time a reschedule is performed.

    • Students must reschedule their program within 30 business days of the original scheduled date, if the student has extenuating circumstances course fee's carry forward for a maximum of 90 days. No refunds are permitted for extended reschedules.

    Rescheduling must be completed in a timely fashion, with extenuating circumstances an extension of course registration may be requested. Policies according to AHS will allow extension to complete in class training to (90 days) of original course date. Circumstances must be provided and match with emergency policies. 

    Late Entry:

    Students who arrive late to their course will be refused entry and are subject to forfeit 100% of the course funds. It is the students responsibility to ensure that they are at the program on time. Doors to the school will open 30 minutes prior to the program for admittance.

    Certificates:

    Completion of your course is subject to 100% attendance policy and it is up to the student to make sure they arrive on time.

    Certificates are issued after the successful completion of the program and will be visable in your Heart & Stroke Foundation portal within 24-48 Hours of the program. 

     

    Unforeseen circumstances may be explained to the instructor at time of program "When in doubt, reach out", we reward honesty.
